​​I'm Anupama Kurra, M.D., physiatrist and owner of Underground Beauty Bar.  My background in medicine has taught me to revere and respect the power of the human body to heal and regenerate.  Being a mom of 4 has taught me that life can take a big toll on our skin!​In a world full of chemicals and quick-fixes, I am passionate about showing people that slow medicine is the right approach to health and well-being.  Our skin care treatments go beyond the surface, triggering tissue regeneration and blood flow to tired, stagnant skin.  Don't forget: Your skin is an organ, just like your heart, kidneys, etc, and treating it with love and kindness will pay you back in dividends!​​

Meet Angela:

I'm Angela Mercurio, DNAP, CRNA, APRN, and partner at Underground Beauty Bar. I spent six years in the Cardiac ICU before becoming a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist in 2010. My ongoing passion for learning led me to complete my DNAP in 2024. ​​My clinical experience and love of learning culminated in a personal realization: concerns about my aging skin and skincare sparked a new curiosity that motivated me to pursue aesthetic medicine. I bring the same approach I honed in nursing and anesthesia to medical aesthetics, delivering personalized treatments with compassion and care.
